Belle Starr and another dog were abandoned outside a business building with a note attached.
The note basically stated their age and that the owner could no longer care for them.

Belle is a calm pup with a regal attitude.  She definitely thinks that she is special.  Not quite a diva but definitely has a well adjusted temperment.  Rarely barks.  Working on getting her used to being brushed, a very necessary requirement for this breed.

Belle is happy being in her own chair or bed but she also will spend time snuggling next to her foster.  Not a velcro dog tho.  Enjoys playing with other small dogs.  She hasn't been exposed to cats at this time so we are not sure about that.  She has been house trained to puppy pads as we have had her quarentined indoors and then had ice storm.  She is smart and learns quickly so transitioning to going outside should be quick.
