Skeeter was abandoned by his owners when they moved.  They left him locked inside the house with no food or water.  The landlord was contacted when Skeeter jumped through a glass plate window.  He had cuts and was limping so he was taken into vet.  It was determined that he had in fact had a broken leg, but his owners had not vetted him at the time and it was healed, so he will always carry the limp and scars from his abuse.
