Patches is an owner surrender to the local animal shelter. Her owners were involved

in long work hours often out of town, then had a family member needing medical care.

All in all, the dog was not getting what she needed and they cared enough to

surrender her to try to find a new home.

She is now in foster home and is doing very well. Patches is a lovable dog. Does

very well on a lead and we think that she would make a good running companion.

She may be a bird dog, but so far she has only pointed to farm animals.

Patches is a house dog. Loves to lazzz on the couch. She is most always calm when

inside, very rarely will get excited. She is house broken but hasn't had a doggie door

experience. She is also TERRIFIED of thunder, so she needs a home that will have

shelter when she is outside. Gets along with other animals, especially smaller dogs.

She is alpha female. Gets along with inside cats but will chase critters in yard

(squirrel, cats etc).
