Sampson was rescued from the back yard of a family with a female boxer "in heat".  He was wearing no collar or other form of identification and all attempts to find his owners have been exhausted.  So he is now available for adoption.  He is very alert and enjoys playing with other dogs.  Sampson and Dallas quickly became buddies and played chase 'til they dropped.  The vet said that they had some issues with him playing too rough and snapping at another small dog.  We do believe that the "roaming" issue with Sampson has not been resolved by just neutering so he will need to be with a family with a secure yard and owners that understand he can escape from opening doors as well.  With training, this can be corrected, but in the beginning, Sampson will test you. Sampson's adoption fee is $75
