This is a rescued cat named Checkers since he’s black and white.  He’s a sweet, young, neutered male cat whom we suspect was abandoned by his family.  He is SO affectionate and purrs so loudly when he’s picked up or brushed. 

He gets along well with the foster's female cat but has spats with the male.  The foster home has dogs and Checkers tries to avoid them and stays hidden a lot of the time. 

Ideally, Checkers new home will be with someone for whom he could be a wonderful house cat.  That is clearly what he wants to be.  He wants to be with people.
