Rescued from the streets when only a few weeks old.  PJ has been a delight in her foster home.  Very playful and affectionate.  Beautiful eye color for a tabby.  

PJ has the distinctive “M” on her forehead.  There are several legends going back thousands of years on how these cats received this mark.  Ancient Egypt cats were called by the name Mau, probably because of the sound they made (meow). Could it be that the M stands for Mau?  In a modern book an author decrees that all tabby cats should have the letter M on their forehead to commemorate Mother’s kindness. Other legends are about Mary, the mother of Jesus and Mohammad.
