Amigo was rescued from the streets when he was just a few weeks old by an elderly man.  He was the man's companion and true Amigo.  He was loved and cared for for almost 3 years and then his owner passed away recently.  

Amigo has had a simple life, mostly staying along side of his owner, going out into fenced yard.  He was taken in vehicles and he does well on rides.  He is not a dominant personality, just wants to get along with everyone.  He did have an older cat that lived in the home, but they didn't really interact, each knowing their own territory.  

Amigo has not been around children of any ages but he has been very open and friendly with all the volunteers at the shelter.  Children would need to be introduced safely.
