Schnauzer / Pug : : Male (neutered) : : Young : : Medium
Elvis was rescued from a rural home where his mother had been dumped. His rescuer had major medical issues and was not able to care for him any longer. He is very eager to have a home where he is played with and loved on. He craves affecton and attention. Highly active when he first sees someone but does calm down when played with. To see his playful side, click on the video on his webpage.
He appears to be a medium sized dog, we do not expect him to be larger than 40 pounds, if that big. We are uncertain of his breed as all the pups look different with little in common. May be part Pug with some underbite and the corkscrew tail. Schnauzer or another terrier type can be seen in his hair color and wire type. He did have to compete for food with his siblings and other dogs at the home, so he may need to be fed separately if you have other pets, at least initially. Elvis has started walking on lease but will need more training to master this area. We have been working with some of the basic commands. He is young and bright.
