Chester and his friend Marshal were found in rural area with loads of fleas and ticks.  Marshal was suffering from Porcupine quills in his facial areas and needed medical attention.  An old tag was on one of the dogs and individual was contacted but did not want to provide any help. 

Chester does know some commands like SIT and OFF but doesn't lead well.  He is a little food protective but he was skin and bones so we aren't expecting this to be an issue once he knows that food will be available regularly.  He is a puppy, just past the puppy teeth stage.  He loves attention from the volunteers, not shy.  Hasn't shown a lot of interest in toys yet but did like the squeekers just didn't know what to do with them.

He will need a secure fenced yard as he has been roaming for some time.
