Redford was abandoned by his owners at a Veterinarian hospital and when contacted said to put him down as they no longer wanted him.  Heartbreaking situation.  As Redford was a healthy and friendly young dog, he was released to rescue so he could be adopted to someone that would see all his wonderful traits.  The volunteers are already in love with this guy.  He travels well, gets along with other dogs.  He doesn't lead well on a leash YET, but he is learning fast.  This lovable guy is a Volunteer favorite.  Working in the shelter, the volunteers often pick a dog that they love to work with, REDFORD "RED" is just that dog.  So many of us love him, so easy to handle and always wanting our affection.  He needs his own forever home.  Totally awesome pup.
