Spirit was rescued from a rural area where she was seen for several weeks but no one could befriend her.  We think that she may have been used to hunt coyote and was lost, there is no indication (tatoos) that she was used in racing.  The vet thinks that she is pure greyhound but there is no way to tell without tests.

Spirit has adjusted quickly to being a housedog.  She has another greyhound companion in her foster home and they get along wonderfully.  She tolerates the cat.  She loves people.

Spirit will be spayed later this month and will be available for adoption at that time.
