Tally was rescued next to a highway with another dog.  Both dogs were abandoned and they needed immediate care for their skin and coats.  While grooming, it was noted that Tally had difficulty with walking normally and did fall over from time to time.  There seems to be some neurological nerve or spinal issue affecting her back legs.  She does walk but it takes her time.  She can also be easily knocked over so if she is with other dogs, they would need to be small so she isn't injured further.  The issue with the spine has also affected her bladder control and she will need to wear protective cover when she is walking around a home.  We hope that this condition will improve over time, but there is a chance that it will not.

Tally does not appear to be in pain.  She loves her doggie bed and she is good with being crated.  She does cuddle and enjoys sitting on a lap to sleep.

Tally will be spayed on March 30 and is available for adoption after that date.
