Charlie is an awesome dog for the right owner.  He is strong and needs an owner that knows the breed's natural traits for protection of the owner and his property.  His former owner has health issues now and could no longer work with him and keep him exercised.  This breed is also known for high intelligence, sometimes outsmarting their handlers.  So love and knowledge of this breed is necessary for Charlie to reach his potential.

Charlie can be a wonder family dog that has older children.  Young children could be knocked down due to his excitement.  Secure fenced yard required for this one, he has been known to 'shepherd' the neighbor's cattle.  Not a good thing since herded cattle lose weight.
