Dart was a street rescue, hair matted, extremely fearful. He was thought to have been injured because he was limping but during his health exam it was noted that he has some deformation in his front legs.    He does sleep well in a crate with a deep fluffy pillow, and seems to be comforted by it.  He enjoys sitting in your lap and watching TV.  His teeth were recently cleaned and he eats well and doesn't appear to have digestive issues. 

Dart has improved greatly since being rescued, he is running and playing with the other dogs but is still a little timid when being held.  Just a little patience in getting to know this guy and it will be a life long love affair.  He appears to be more fearful of men than women.  Although he is much more friendly, he still needs to be prepared with voice command before he is picked up.  I've just been telling him "Pick Up" and he has learned to stand still otherwise, he avoids you coming toward him.  So sad.
