German Pinscher / Labrador Retriever : : Female (spayed) : : Young : : Medium
Esther was rescued from a rural home where her mother had been dumped. Her rescuer had major medical issues and was not able to care for her any longer. She is very eager to have a home where she is played with and loved on. She craves affecton and attention. Highly active when she first sees someone but does calm down when played with.
She appears to be a medium sized dog, we do not expect her to be larger than 40 pounds, if that big. We are uncertain of her breed as all the pups look different with little in common. May be part Pug with some underbite and labrador, Eshter's color is like the Miniature Pinscher or German Pinscher. Her sister has the appearance of a Schnauzer. She did have to compete for food with her siblings and other dogs at the home, so she may need to be fed separately if you have other pets, at least initially. Esther has started walking on lease but will need more training to master this area. We have been working with some of the basic commands. She is young and bright.
