Looking for a home where Annie will be a companion pet for a retired or stay at home owner.  She is definitely a lap dog and snuggles quickly.  She has severe separation anxiety and cries and scratches at the door if she is not with her caregiver.  A home that has only short times where she will be left alone is going to be the best for her.  She can be crated but still has anxiety when left and paces and pants.  This will improve as she becomes secure with the home.  She does ride well and calm in vehicles. 

Annie is a rescue found running on the streets during extremely cold weather.  Her coat was long and matted and very uncared for.   Annie had a wonderful makeover and is such a beauty now.  She is still somewhat shy and timid.  She may have been physically abused as well as abandoned.  Annie does have good social skills with other dogs but needs to be watched with larger dogs.  She is a door darter and tries to get out as soon as someone opens a door, so not a good candidate for homes with young children.  

Annie will need to be walked on leash always unless inside a secure fenced yard.

Her current house-training is with Pee Pads as she has been in isolation until all of her shots were administered.
